Our Most Popular PrimeStar Dental Plan- Personal Elite

by Jamee Stasik, Digital Marketing Manager | Mar 14, 2013
PrimeStar Individual Dental Plan

When prospective customers call our Sales Connect Team, they often ask what our most popular dental insurance plan is. Although we provide nine PrimeStar* dental plans, our PrimeStar Personal Elite plan is a solution utilized more than any other.

What’s makes the PrimeStar Personal Elite plan so popular?
According to Bryan Derheim, Sales Connect Team Lead, “The PrimeStar Personal Elite plan is a solution that typically achieves the desired 100/80/50 (co-insurance) dental plan, without a waiting period. This allows the policyholder to use the insurance as of the effective date, continue to go to their current dentist, all at a monthly price they agree with.”

No Waiting Periods: This makes the plan popular, because you get dental benefits on the policy issue date, for preventative, basic, and major services.  This allows the policyholder to get the coverage they need, when they need it.

Co-insurance Costs:  Co-insurance is the cost of your visit that is not covered by the dental insurance provider.  For example, if 80% of your basic services (x-Rays, fillings, and simple extractions) are covered by the dental insurance, then 20% would be covered by you.

The PrimeStar Personal Elite plan provides 100% coverage of the plan costs for preventative services like teeth cleanings, fluoride treatments and sealants on the effective date of the policy.

Also, by year three 80% of basic services and 50% of major services are paid for by the insurance company.

The Freedom to Choose Any Dentist: All PrimeStar plans are Indemnity, which give you the flexibility to visit any dentist that is convenient for you. This means you can continue to see your current dentist, or any that you choose.

In addition, all PrimeStar plans offer:

  • Coverage for individuals 18+, spouse and families
  • No enrollment fees
  • Up to $2,000 annual maximum
  • Optional vision rider
  • 30 Day customer satisfaction guarantee**
